Services
London Knee Clinic provides a comprehensive service for the diagnosis and treatment of knee pain, knee injuries, osteoarthritis and knee deformities.
We treat sports injuries of the knee including anterior and posterior cruciate ligament and meniscal tears.
We have close links with a number of physiotherapy units where many of our patients are sent for conservative management of their knee problems.
In appropriate cases we undertake surgical correction of knee abnormalities and the majority of cases are done on a day case basis using arthroscopic (Keyhole) surgery.
We take video clips of all our arthroscopies and provide a copy of this to our patients for discussion following surgery.
We have a particular interest in patello-femoral problems and anterior knee pain and have considerable experience in meniscal replacement surgery.
We have a major interest in partial knee replacements and do partial and total knee replacements with a very short hospital stay.
We do not use a tourniquet for any of our surgery and we do not use blood transfusions except in very exceptional cases (less than 1%).
Location
London Knee Clinic is based at St. Olaf House, London Bridge Hospital, which provides the very highest standards of medical care in a comfortable, newly-refurbished hospital.
We are situated overlooking the south bank of the River Thames between London Bridge and Tower Bridge and are within easy reach of the City with excellent main line train and underground links to the nearby London Bridge Stations.
